1 cabbage of approx. 600 g

1 onion

1 large floury potato

2 tablespoons of oil

1 liter of vegetable broth

3 tablespoons of white dressing (white balsamic vinegar)

100 g of sliced ​​bacon

1 tablespoon of brown sugar

1 dl of cream

How to proceed

Set aside a few cabbage leaves for garnish. Halve the remaining cabbage, removing the core. Finely chop the cabbage. Chop the onion. Halve the potato and cut it into thin slices. Fry the potato, onion and cabbage in a drizzle of oil. Add the broth. Cook for about 20 minutes. Dress with the white dressing.

Meanwhile, cut the previously set aside cabbage leaves into strips. Cut the bacon into strips. Without adding fat, cook the bacon until crispy. Drain it on kitchen paper. Pour the cabbage into the same pan. Add the sugar and caramelize it. Remove from the heat.
